A 50% deposit opens the job. We set your words and send a PDF proof — usually within five days.
You approve it
Nothing goes on press until you say yes. Changes at this stage are free; changes after are a reprint.
It goes on the press
Three to four weeks, one sheet at a time, painted and pressed. Then it ships to you boxed flat.
Questions we get
How big can you print?
The press bed is 6.5 by 10 inches, so the largest single piece we can press is A7 — 5 by 7 inches — with margin. Anything larger has to be a different press, and we would tell you to go elsewhere for it.
Can I see the paper first?
Yes. We send a sample pack with all three stocks and a blind-embossed card so you can feel the depth. It is $12, credited against your order.
What does a second ink colour actually cost?
It is a second pass through the press for every sheet — so it is close to a second print run. On a 100-piece suite that is about $290.
How late can I change the wording?
Free until you approve the proof. After that the type is locked in the chase and a change means resetting and reprinting, at full cost.
Do you ship outside the US?
Yes, at cost. Suites go boxed flat and are heavy — expect international shipping to be a real line item, not a rounding error.
